Capturing emotion:
The picture I'm choosing to write about would be the third image with the boy against the fence. I wanted to capture a mysterious emotion look , with having the audience wonder what is behind the fence. I shot my photo straight on as my classmate looked out the school fence. The setting would be at the school, and we are traveling outside for my anatomy lab and I had Zach Arruda lean up against the fence and I told him to be dramatic and he modeled what he could. The lighting would be in black and white , to emphasize the mood of the photo being very serious. The setting has a fence and a far off distance that no one is really sure of , which therefore is creating the mysterious and serious emotion. The composition of my photo consists of a boy clinging to a fence looking off to something which is not captured in the photo. I used my iphone for this specific shot , but I focused the lens and it was a sunny day out so I had no trouble with adjusting the light.
